Description: PIONEER SQUARE. Intimate and charming, this Pioneer Square Italian is housed in one of the oldest of Seattle's old buildings, a beautiful triangular red brick structure. Unpretentious yet upscale, Al Boccalino offers a certain neighborhood charm, punctuated by friendly service and comfortably decorated, mustard-hued dining rooms. Menu highlights include gnocchi in a tomato-basil sauce, pan-seared Alaskan scallops in basil pesto, and four-cheese-stuffed ravioli.
