Description: CAPITOL HILL. This Capitol Hill restaurant offers New American cuisine that's tempered by a Mediterranean sensibility. Grilled romaine salad, touched with Roquefort dressing, is a house specialty, as is the hangar steak, smoked and grilled to an ideal tenderness. You'll also be enticed by pan-roasted leg of lamb, rare filet of wild salmon, sea scallop risotto, spicy roasted chicken, and sweetbreads flavored with roasted onion and smoked bacon. Desserts include bread pudding, flourless chocolate cake, fruit tarts, and crème brûlée. While you're around, make sure to sample their wines and, especially, the martinis, which are tasty and unusual.
